ALPACA CARPET SHOES

The alpaca shoes of the brand Cornelio Borda are made from a unique experimental embroidery technique.

They are made not of animal fur but from alpaca and Pima cotton yarn that comes from the remains of clothing production.

With the blended yarn we create a kind of rug that is handmade stitch by stitch and brushed to give the rug a softer and fluffier look.

These designs have been interpreted and embroidered in Peru, highlighting our sustainability proposal through the reuse of Peruvian materials.

The designer, Renata Garcia created Cornelio Borda as a contemporary brand that preserves and promotes traditional techniques through small high-end accessories.

Designed in Florence, inspired by pre-Colombian cultures - the collection's pieces are hand-made in collaboration with artisans in Peru.
